Children's Exhibitions

A central feature of Alternative Entertainments' programming through the years, and particularly for our Children's Arts Fest, has been an emphasis on children's engagemnt with the plastic arts. Whether it is the provision of print workshops surrounded by Louis le Brocquy's inspirational Tain series (below), or exposure to the art of children in other parts of the world (Christine Noble's Sunshine Foundation has contributed exhibitions of work by children from Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam to two of our festivals) we believe in offering as broad a range of arts experience to the younger generation on south county Dublin, and beyond.
