“The great fact of nature is change… nothing is fixed in a schema.”
The three members of Group ’06 studied Fine Art together at the Dublin Institute of Technology. Having kept in regular contact after graduation they formed a group as a means of mutual support and encouragement in ‘a difficult time for painting’. As well as being primarily painters they found also that their individual practices shared a concern with nature. The work in A Natural World is the diverse response of three painters to that theme.

‘A Natural World’ will be opened by Patricia Hurl on 8th February 2006 in Alternative Entertainments Gallery at the Civic Theatre, Tallaght, Dublin 24 between 5.30pm – 7.30pm.

The show will travel on to Helsinki, Finland in November 2006.
